Start taking deposits, and add your bank later
Give your legal name, or your company's, and tick the terms. Your deposit page takes deposits from that minute. When you want the money sent, add your bank: Stripe asks who you are and where to send it, once, in about 5 minutes.
In some states Stripe asks for your bank first; your dashboard tells you if yours is one.

Put your link in your bio, or send one
Clients tap your deposit page's link and pick their artist. For one client and one appointment, send a deposit link with the amount and a note already on it. Text it from your phone.

Your client pays, and you both get the record
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, on their phone. They get a receipt by email. You get an email, and the deposit is in your dashboard.
Your clients agree to your deposit policy when they pay, and you keep the record.
Set your policy once, in your own words or ours. Every client ticks it before they pay, and the deposit keeps the exact words and when they agreed. If a no-show disputes the charge, we answer the dispute for you with that record.
Every artist gets their own link, and their own deposit amount if you set one.

We collect each deposit for you, and it is yours the moment your client pays. It waits in your own Stripe balance until you add your bank, and then Stripe sends it there every week.
Card processing, 2.9% + 30¢ of what the card is charged, comes out of your share, and a card from outside the US costs 1.5% more. 50¢ of each deposit goes toward what Stripe charges to send your money to your bank. On a $100 deposit, $96.18 is yours.
You can pay the $3.99 yourself instead, and your client pays exactly the deposit; $92.31 is yours on a $100 deposit.
